		<description>I sat before my clock and watched that little sucker tick down to the new year.  Funny I felt pretty much the same as you, and I suspect there are many more alike :)

Maybe this is all part of maturation (aka AGING).

The pain lies in our realization of the past&#039;s irreversability, and also the future&#039;s inevitability.

It is indeed a sentimental time, drenched in tastes conceivable.
